Jerry Walker is the Managing Director of Afgritech. Jerry has over 35 years of diverse experience in sales, marketing, management, human resources, finance and business, including over 35 years with Southern States Cooperative, Inc. Jerry’s goal-oriented, customer service based approach to business, vast knowledge and experience and keen sense of the industry all make him an effective leader and tremendous asset.
General Manager and National Sales Manager
Les has over 35 years of experience in the dairy feed business, and has been a part of Afgritech since its founding in Watertown, NY in 2011. Les has held a number of positions over his career, including Dairy Nutritionist, Regional Sales Manager, Operations Manager and Dairy Division Manager. He has excellent knowledge of the Northeast dairy market and understands the needs of the dairy industry.
Matthew McMacken, MBA
Matt joined Afgritech in January 2021 as the new Controller. He brings a great deal of knowledge and experience along with dedication to our country as former US Army. He has called the North Country home for the past 12 years. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s in Business administration. Matt and his wife Michelle have a small farm in Champion, NY where they raise sheep, goats, and pigs. Matt has three daughters who also share a strong bond for agriculture. His younger children are in 4H and his oldest daughter is the FFA President at Carthage High School. In his free time, Matt can be found on the lake fishing for salmon and trout on beautiful Lake Ontario.
Harold grew up in Lewis County, New York, working on a family dairy farm. He attended Canton Agricultural and Technical College where he received a degree in Electronic Technology. Harold has over 30 years of management experience in the manufacturing industry working with high precision, high speed manufacturing equipment under FDA guidelines. His knowledge of manufacturing, maintenance methodologies, computers and automated controls allows him to effectively manage our state-of-the-art computerized AminoMax production mill.
Lisa has a diverse background that includes over 40 years of experience in accounting, audit and tax compliance. In addition to serving as Controller for Afgritech, Lisa is a certified fraud examiner, an enrolled agent with the IRS and a licensed New York Notary who holds Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Economic Crime Investigation. Lisa works closely with Afgritech management to help maximize the cost effectiveness of AminoMax for all channels and enhance company growth
Kasey Jo Finster
SHRM-CP, Process Specialist
Kasey Jo has been with Afgritech since its operations began in December 2011. She handles all the customer contract implementation, load schedules, invoicing and inbound material schedules. As an integral part of Afgritech operations, Kasey Jo has grown with our company and is here to assist our customers. Kasey Jo has recently earned her Certification with SHRM as a Human Resource Manager and continues to expand her responsibilities with our growing company.
